Why We Built This School
Corventyx exists because financial education in Chile has often been either inaccessible or commercially motivated. We think that needs to change.
Founded in Puerto Montt, Built for Chile
Corventyx was established in 2023 in Puerto Montt, a city that sits at the intersection of traditional Chilean life and a growing property development sector. The founders noticed that people around them were making significant financial decisions, taking out mortgages, saving for property, exploring new financing structures, without a clear understanding of how any of it actually worked.
Generic financial content existed, but it was written for other markets. Chilean specifics, the role of the Conservador, how APV accounts work, what DFL 2 means for a buyer, were scattered or absent. Corventyx was built to address that gap directly.
How We Think About Financial Education
Explain, Don't Prescribe
Our content describes how things work. It does not tell you what to do with your money. The difference matters: explanation builds understanding, prescription creates dependency. We aim for the former.
Chile-Specific by Design
Every example, every regulation reference, every market description is grounded in Chilean law and practice. We do not adapt international templates. We write content that reflects how things actually work here.
Accessible Language
Financial concepts are often communicated in jargon that excludes more than it clarifies. Corventyx content is written for people who are not financial professionals. Clarity is a design principle, not an afterthought.
No Conflicts of Interest
Corventyx does not sell financial products, receive commissions, or partner with investment platforms. The educational content is not a funnel toward any commercial outcome. This separation is structural, not incidental.
Education That Grows With You
The program is structured to be progressive. Someone who begins with no financial background will find the early modules accessible and practical. Someone who already manages a budget and wants to understand property financing will find the later modules substantive and specific.
Content is updated when Chilean regulations, tax conditions, or market structures change. The goal is not to publish and forget, but to maintain a program that reflects the current economic environment in Chile.
