Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Corventyx SpA ("Corventyx", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data obtained through the website corventyx.com. This policy is governed by Chilean Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life (Ley de Protección de la Vida Privada), which establishes the framework for personal data protection in Chile.

By using this website, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the site. This site is operated from Puerto Montt, Chile, and all data processing activities described here occur within the Chilean legal framework.

Who We Are

The data controller responsible for personal data processed through this site is Corventyx SpA, a company incorporated under Chilean law with RUT 83.168.542-2, domiciled at San Felipe 185, Puerto Montt, Chile. You can contact us regarding data matters at info@corventyx.com or by calling +56 65 233 1986.

What Data We Collect and How

We collect personal data in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you visit the site. When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect your name and email address, along with the content of your message. This information is provided voluntarily and is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry. We do not use contact form submissions for marketing purposes.

When you visit the site, certain technical data is collected automatically. This includes your IP address, the type of browser and operating system you use, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the referring URL if you arrived from another site. This data is collected through server logs and, if you consent, through analytics cookies. This technical data helps us understand how the site is used and allows us to maintain and improve it.

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined under Chilean Law 19.628, such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, or financial data beyond what is necessary to respond to a specific inquiry.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under Law 19.628, personal data may be processed when the data subject has given consent, or when processing is necessary for the legitimate purposes of the data controller provided those purposes do not conflict with the rights of the data subject. For contact form data, the legal basis is your explicit consent given at the time of submission through the privacy checkbox. For technical data collected through necessary cookies, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of maintaining a functional and secure website. For analytics and marketing cookies, the legal basis is your consent as expressed through the cookie preference panel on this site.

How We Use Your Data

Name and email address submitted through the contact form are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add contact form submissions to mailing lists, share them with third parties for marketing, or use them for any purpose other than addressing the specific question you raised. Message content is retained only as long as necessary to complete the exchange and is not stored in any marketing database.

Technical and analytics data is used in aggregate form to understand how visitors interact with the site, which pages are most visited, and where technical issues may occur. This data is not used to build profiles of individual users.

Data Retention

Contact form data is retained for a period sufficient to respond to the inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up questions, not to exceed twelve months from the date of the original inquiry. Server log data is retained for a period of up to ninety days. Analytics data, if collected through cookies you have consented to, is retained in accordance with the retention periods of the analytics service used. Cookie preferences are stored for up to twelve months from the date you set them.

Data Sharing

Corventyx does not sell personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. We may share data with service providers who assist us in operating the website, such as hosting providers or analytics platforms, under agreements that require them to protect the data and use it only for the specified purpose. If we are required by law or by a competent Chilean authority to disclose personal data, we will comply with that requirement.

Your Rights Under Chilean Law

Under Law 19.628, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your data where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue holding it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@corventyx.com with your request. We will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for exercising these rights.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The site is served over HTTPS. Access to contact form submissions is restricted to authorized personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we maintain practices consistent with the requirements of Law 19.628.

Cookies

This site uses cookies. For detailed information about the types of cookies we use, their purposes, and how to manage your preferences, please see our Cookie Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
